UV-C Air Disinfection

Our new range of unit mounted and duct mounted UV-C air stream disinfection has been developed to kill >90% of virus in either the supply or extract legs of an AHU or its associated ductwork. The solution has been fully tested and includes the following safety measures; Light traps, UV-C resistant inspection window and door mounted cut off switches.
  • Simple solution which eliminates >90% of virus in supply or exhaust airstreams
  • No Ozone creation
  • Available for both new and existing Air Handling Units
  • Enables AHUs with re-circulation to be put back into service
  • Airstream disinfection to kill >90% of virus
  • Can be used in supply or exhaust airstream
  • For airflow range 2,000 m3/h to 63,000 m3/h
  • Standard solutions for velocities between 1.8 m/s and 3.3 m/s
  • Solutions for other velocities available on request
  • Also for duct mounting
  • Supply of lamps mounted in AHU section, wired, option to supply with a controller and including light traps
  • FläktGroup have 15 years+ of delivering this type of system
  • Retrofit to enable AHUs with re-circulation to be put back into service
  • 254 nm wavelength so NO ozone generation

There are three basic strategies in the current pandemic to reduce virus transmission; Remove, Capture and Kill. FläktGroup have a variety of solutions that can be utilised for the removal or capture of viruses. Our UV-C solutions enable the safe killing of the virus in either the supply or extract airstreams up to air flow rates of 63,000 M3H (17.5 M3/S) and can be supplied with new units or, for existing units, as a unit mounted or duct mounted solution. FläktGroup have been supplying UV-C solutions for over 15 years but our offer has been revised and updated to combat the current pandemic.
